Do you need immigration help?
Are you or a family member:
-
Detained at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma, WA?
-
Seeking asylum?
-
In Immigration Court removal proceedings and need help?
-
A student who is graduating and wondering how to stay in the U.S.?
-
Wondering how you can bring your fiance or another family member here to live?
-
A Permanent Resident wondering about becoming a U.S. Citizen?
-
A victim of domestic violence or another crime and wonder if you are eligible for an immigration benefit?
I have lived in India, Turkmenistan and Denmark and understand the challenges of trying to navigate through foreign rules and customs. I pride myself providing clear explanations of the U.S. laws and procedures. I will listen to your concerns and answer your questions. Together we will navigate your case - I will explain laws and your options and give you recomendations on how to go forward. I will be a tireless advocate for your case.
I am passionate about immigrant justice and want to help you to obtain the benefits for which you are eligible.
1. How do I make an appointment with you?
Just give me a call me at (206) 419-7332 or email me at meena@mmenterlaw.com to set up a time to meet. I have an office in Seattle, or we can meet on line via ZOOM. During the Consultation, we will discuss your questions and your goals. Based on the information you provide, I will give you options on how your case can proceed. The Consultation is your chance to ask questions and understand your options. Before you leave the Consultation, you will know how much it will cost for me to represent you.
2. How much do you charge?
In order for you to budget your legal fees and plan for your other expenses, I charge flat fees for your casework. The fee depends on the complexity of the case and the amount of work necessary. Therefore, I can not easily give you an estimate of the fee until we discuss your case in depth at the Consultation. If you would like to work with me, we will sign a Representation Agreement that outlines the work I will do for you and explains our collaboration to pursue the best result possible.
3. Can I just fill out the form myself?
Maybe. The forms are available online and may seem simple to fill out. But the questions on the form sometimes have more complicated or nuanced implications for your case, depending on how judges and the government have interpreted them and how they relate to the larger body of immigration law. Immigration attorneys read these interpretations and follow new developments. We understand the way the forms and supporting documents should be completed to avoid mistakes or delays. In addition, even if you do everything right, the government can make mistakes. I will identify these mistakes and work to correct them. I have specialized knowledge that will help you obtain eligible benefits in the shortest amount of time.
If you choose to work with me, I promise I will do my best to to help you reach your immigration goals so that you will have the security you need to set down roots, take opportunites, and contribute fully to your community.
